There are many options to earn money, some of them will be legit, some of them are just scams. In this post, I will tell you about the sites I‘ve used and worked for me.
Ebates– this is really simple, there are over 2000 shopping sites and I bet you are shopping regularly on some of them, so why not earn money at the same time? There is a widget you can install so it will help you to find ebates cash back. For example, I was looking for Michael Kors shoes and I knew the model, thy were just not at the Macy’s I was at that day. When I went to google to search them up they were in Michael Kors, Macy’s, Bloomingdales – each shop different price, each schop different cashback rate, and of course models and colors. So this way you can gain, if I only checked Michael Kors page, I wouldn’t find the shoes I liked. Really worth to look at this one. I even wrote a whole post on ebates- check it out here: allthestufficareabout.com/cashback-with-ebates/
Most important with Ebates you earn dollars, not points. You can get a check or PayPal transfer, whichever you prefer.
Swagbucks– there are several options to earn with Swagbucks. You can:
- watch paid videos,
- shop (similarly like with ebates, worth comparing the cashback percentage),
- answer surveys,
- online search- yes like as if you were searching in google, but now you get paid to do so,
- play games,
- discover offers.
Swagbucks will not pay you in cash but in gift cards, you can use those cards when you shop in Amazon, PayPal, Walmart, Sephora, Visa debit card, eBay, Target ect

Lyft – become a lyft driver, earn money in your free time or full time. Make up to $35/h. Take passengers with you when you drive to work, to airport, come back home after you dropped your kids to their activities. It does not have to be something you dedicate your time to, do it while you drive anyway. It won’t seem like you dedicate a lot of time but can make money on the side.
I am not a lyft driver but I’m a lyft customer. They usually have better rates than uber and I’ve never had any issues with drivers.
Start a blog – this can be a page you share your expertise, your advice or let ther know about the deals you already know. It can be whatever you feel like doing. Once your blog will bring traffic you can start earning by adding adverts, affiliate links, or simply sell items youd like to sell. There are many ways to grow traffic to your website. Also starting your own blog is not really that expensive. You can start your blog with Bluehost, a hosting company for as little as 3,95 per month. This will include domain, hosting ect. You will also get free dollars to spend. Check out the latest rates and options here.
Let me know if you’ve ever used those methods to earn some money on the side or would you be willing to try. Let me know other ways you know of- only legit ones though:)
