To get those bonuses you need to call or visit HSBC branch, open one of the 3 accounts (Choice, Advance or Premier) and provide them this referral code (S013536639). Remember, you won’t get any of those bonuses without the code.

How the bonus works?

Bonus is divided into 2 parts, first part, you get either $50, $250 or $500. Next you can get up to $1000. Here are the rules:

$50+

You can start by putting $1500 on your new Choice Checking account and keep it there till you get your bonus which will be in around 8 weeks. The bonus is $50. Other option is to set a direct deposit to your new account.

$250+

If your direct deposit can be equal or higher than 5k, than you should open Advance Checking account, it will give you $250 bonus. If you get salary twice a month each paycheck needs to be $2500 or more. If you can’t set up a direct deposit for 5k but can put 10k for those 8 weeks and treat it as a saving’s account (meaning, this money can’t be touched until you get the bonus ) then your bonus is also $250.

$500+

If you have spare $100 000 which you are not going to use for the next 2 months than you can score $500. Open Premier Checking account to get this bonus.

What next?

$1000

Once your account is fully activated (allow 24h for that) and you want to get even more $ then spread the news & let your friends and family know about this deal, it is not gonna be there forever. You can refer as many people as you want and you will be compensatet for the first 6 who sign up with your referral and have their account open for at least 15 days. If you will bring to the bank 1 new client, your bonus is going to be $100. It will be $200 total for 2 new clients, $400 for 3 new clients, $600 for 4 new clients, $800 for 5 new clients and $1000 for 6 new clients. Why I like this offer?

The bonus amount speaks for itself. I found no other bank offering this amount of a bonus. Chase and Citi are giving up to $500. Nowhere else to be found an offer where you can get $1050 for opening account with just $1500. In Citi to score $500 you need to have $50 000, in Chase you need to open Checking, Savings and Credit Card altogether to score the $500.

There are many banks that offer $200-$300 but this are often targeted offers, meaning, it doesn’t matter you found it on those banks sites. If you didn’t get the offer in your mailbox it won’t apply to you. Some banks ( I do not mean the big banks like Citi, Chase or HSBC- this are reputable institutions, top 10 banks in the world) advertise that they give bonus, but check reviews, talk to your friends, they never give you those bonuses anyway.

Other banks only allow you to open account electronically, but then the form you filled for passed 20 mins is not going through, you call them but they are not able to help you as this is online only offer.

So yes I’ve researched what is currently available and decided to bank with HSBC. So far no complaints.

Also I heard people saying, there is not many HSBC ATMs in my area ect ect, It is not like you have to close your other accounts and use HSBC only. Do not put all your eggs in one basket.
