It strikes me every time how people like to bs themselves. How they want to believe success is luck. How they misinterpret your message to prove a point.

Luck is sweat. The more you sweat the luckier you get. Remove the emotions look at the facts- how big is your audience, how warm is your audience? If you are starting from scratch you have to build the thing. You have to grow the audience and warm them. Be realistic with what you expect. Expect 1-3% conversion from your warm list. If you have 100 people are on your email list but they are not the right people- they don’t know you- you won’t get any sales. If you have 100 people that are warm, they consume your content and get excited whenever they get anything from you than you can expect 1-3 people to buy.

It takes time- either write a lot of content or interact with your audience or do lives, post often. Go to meetups, invest what you can either energy and time or money to grow your list. This is the reality of business. If you don’t have audience you can’t expect sales.

Building your brand, awareness and engagement.

Now with social media more and more people are checking you before they invest in your product. There is a ton of scammers, so if someone offers you mountains but there is no proof they can achieve what they claim would you buy from them?

I want to show you a simple example of how I can help you grow your business, your following, your pageviews, your authority with Pinterest Marketing.

This is a screen of one of my posts. In this moment I have 92 posts on my blog and this is just one of them.

patience consistency althestufficareabout

Post was published in May 2018 and in the first month it was visited 29 times, next month 489 times, this month 2981 times.

This is power of search engine optimization. Yes! Pinterest is a search engine, just like Google and YouTube. You input keywords and it shows you results. According to MarketingProfs, more than 2 million articles are published everyday on the web. Imagine what kind of competition your posts face. If you want to get traffic to your website you have 2 choices. Optimize your content for search engines or pay for ads.

Now, optimizing content takes time but if done right can bring you results that are going to skyrocket your traffic.

Now think about ads. You see them everywhere- aren’t they annoying? Every 5th post on fb is an ad, you get ads in between IG posts, IG stores, even in fb messenger, in the sidebar and inside the articles you read. 99% of the time you are not going to click on the ad.

Let’s say you want to get 70k page-views to your blog. Why 70k?- because it can give you roughly $1000 from MediaVine ads.

You have couple of choices

a). you can pay for ads, roughly $1 per click- that would cost you $70k – does not seem like a smart investment if you are after $1k ad revenue.

b). you can reach out to an influencer with 1M following, as if they post an insta story 100k people would see it (yes only 10%) and 5k people (yes 20%) would swipe up and visit your site. 5k is not 70k so you need to do it with 14 influencers. Influencer charges 1% of their following which in this scenario is $10k now multiply it by 14 it will give you $140k – this is even worse than ads

c). you can invest in Pinterest Marketing services, wait couple of months and get results like on the attached example above.

Now what is the byproduct of those scenarios.

  1. If you post an ad there is a huge chance noone is going to remember you after they see the ad
  2. If you hired influencer people would remember you for a bit
  3. If you market on Pinterest your offer would be alive for a long long time and visible to your potential visitors every day and it is not costing you anything. You will get organic traffic. If market properly you will become the go-to person

Pinterest serves as an awesome place to brand your business. Since the platform is visual, you can easily showcase your offer. Content you publish on Pinterest will humanize your brand and build trust – which is essential for the sales process.

The big sales strategy is branding.

Many people think giving tips and advice for free is stupid. The truth is, building brand is the best sales strategy. Everyone can have their 15 min of fame, but building a relationship for long term is way smarter.

Pinterest marketing power is very rarely fully utilized by business owners. There are loads of perks in investing in Pinterest marketing. If you are not leveraging pinterest in your marketing strategy you are missing out.

Hi, my name is Joanna, I started this blog in Jan 2017. I created posts about beauty, fashion, travel, rabbits, money blogging ect. Simply put: all the stuff I care about. After 10 months I realized my blog is not getting enough traffic so I dived into research. Till Oct 2017 I only had around 700 visitors on my blog per month. Then I implemented my Pinterest strategy and automated my pinning with my own build tool – PinMeApp. In Nov 2017 I got 3300 page views and then in Dec 2017 8500. That is how my app was born: PinMeApp. I wanted to help others grow traffic to their sites as well. Today I offer subscription for my app, but I also teach people my Pinterest strategy, step by step what I did to grow the traffic so fast, so this blog is now getting around 20k page views each month. I also offer Pinterest Management and implement my strategy for brands who want to reach their audience on Pinterest as well. My Pinterest account reaches over 5m people monthly. If you want such results feel free to contact me. Cheers, Joanna
